How It Started

Patrick's Dream Bar in Paradise

The Flying Pig took flight in November 2012. What started as one man's vision of a thatched-roof bar on the ocean has become one of Belize's most beloved gathering spots on the Placencia Peninsula.

Owner Patrick built the place from scratch — the quality of the design, materials, sound system and his boundless hospitality all came together to create something genuinely special. An open-air sports bar with a great Belizean feel.

Since day one it's been the place for live music, sporting events, great food and a relaxing vibe. You never know who might step in and just start jamming.
